Embutada

Opening a recently made Ancestral wine for the Embutada Tarragona

L'Embutada

L'Embutada is a nod back to the past, when Tarragona was the wine hub of the south of Catalonia. Between October and November it was common practice to taste the new wine from the local cellars. This was done with the help of a tin funnel which would be filled with a small quantity of wine and passed around. L'Embutada brings this tradition back to live the first week of November, when a selection of local wine makers gather in one of Tarragona's most historical squares to offer a taste of the new wine of the year.
